On 12 August 2000, Cheryl & Mark drove down to San Diego to meet David, Susan, and Marci (Mark's brother, sister-in-law, and niece respectively), who were on vacation there for a few days. After long drives (theirs longer than ours, all the way from Phoenix!), we mostly just walked along or sat on the beaches, bay-side or ocean-side, near the Catamaran hotel where they were staying. We asked hotel employees to take a couple of photos, on the bay-side beach...
...or in the hotel restaurant where we enjoyed good food and very good company! This marks the beginning of Cheryl and Mark introducing each other to our respective families; we've already met some of each other's local friends, from work or church. These are the people who helped make us who we are, and we both love being brought into these aspects of each other's lives!
